Building materials industry "six zero" factory standard landing green certification products broke 13,000

June 6, Shandong Jining, the third "60 Green Building Materials Day" activity site, China Building Materials Federation officially released two key standards: "zero outsourcing power factory" and "zero employee factory" standards.

This is the Primary batch of implementation standards in the "Six Zero" target system of the building materials industry, which provides a clear technical path for the green transformation and upgrading of the national building materials enterprises.

The "Six Zeros" concept - that is, zero outsourced electricity, zero fossil energy, zero primary resources, zero carbon emissions, zero waste emissions, and zero employees - was Primary introduced on June 6, 2023.  Over the past two years, this vision has been gradually transformed into industry practice standards.

1.Breakthrough Moment

The "Six Zeros" goal is moving from concept to industrial reality. The two standards released by the China Building Materials Federation this time directly target the better crucial energy and human resource links in the green transformation of the building materials industry.

While the "zero purchased electricity factory" standard was being implemented, the Jining plant of Conch Cement, as the world's Primary "zero purchased electricity" demonstration project in the cement industry, was simultaneously opened to the public for display.

The factory has achieved a closed-loop operation of self-sufficiency in electricity through photovoltaic power generation systems and waste heat recovery technology.

The "zero-employee factory" standard focuses on highly automated production scenarios, requiring that the numerical control rate of key processes reach over 95% and that the production line achieve fully unmanned operation throughout the process. This standard has been implemented and verified in the demonstration production lines of enterprises such as Huaxin Cement and Beijing Jinyu.

2. Fill the gaps in the world

Another major breakthrough of this event is that China's building materials industry has completed the formulation of the world's Primary "carbon capture industry standard" for the cement industry.

This standard fills the gap in the field of carbon capture technology specifications for the global cement industry and provides standard support for promoting the construction of "zero-carbon emission" factories.

During the construction of the "Sixty" factory, the China Building Materials Federation adopted the "challenge and response" mechanism to issue multiple batches of key research tasks. So far, more than 10 projects have achieved breakthroughs in key technologies, among which the cement clinker production capacity above the benchmark level has increased by 15% compared with that in 2020.

Carbon capture technology, as a key path to achieving zero carbon emissions, its standardization will accelerate its large-scale application in high-emission industries such as cement.
